OUR MUSIC DIRECTOR

Craig Garnham

As a composer, conductor, accompanist, teacher, and music director, Craig enjoys a multifaceted career in music. He received both a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Classical Music and a Master of Arts Degree in Choral Conducting from York University. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Church Music and Worship from the University of Waterloo.

OUR CHOIR

Music at Mayfield United Church encompasses a wide range of styles and eras – from classical to contemporary to spirituals and world music in the support of the liturgy. Our active choir consists of a 16 voice SATB ensemble. In addition to working on weekly anthems & hymns, the choir presents an annual Christmas Cantata.

Our talented group also has a string group, the Spirit Band. Regular musical additions to our services include music on the guitar, piano and organ, as well as vocal solos, duets, and gospel quartets.
