WHO WE ARE
Mayfield United Church is and has been a thriving congregation since it was established in 1830. Now on the edge of where rural meets the Greater Toronto Area we are a vibrant mix of families who have lived, farmed and gathered here for generations joined by newcomers moving into the area.
We are a welcoming Christian community looking for opportunities to continue to live out God’s mission. We host a variety of social events throughout the year for the congregation and the extended community. We work closely with other United Churches in our area and welcome opportunities to participate in events with our neighbours of all faiths in the broader community. For example, Mayfield and other local churches take turns hosting regular Messy Church gatherings on Friday evenings. Our coffee and treats fellowship time after church services is always a lively and joyful time.
